Brazilian mercenary Herik Ferreira Soares, call sign Neto, born October 30, 2002, in Castanhal, Pará, Brazil, arrived in Ukraine in mid-2025 to fight against Russia. He left after his contract ended but returned. He claimed he was tricked into serving in the rear but was sent on meat assaults. He was captured alive.
